Victoria Court, 54 Castle Street, Aberdeen

Victoria Court, located at 54 Castle Street in Aberdeen, is a late 18th century building that originally served as public rooms. It is a three-storey, long, narrow, gabled rectangular structure featuring a three-lighted bowed south elevation that overlooks the Harbour. The building has a long, low projecting addition on the ground floor. It is situated in a restricted site within a small courtyard, which is accessed through a narrow passage on Castle Street. The exterior is constructed of grey granite ashlar and features an eaves cornice.

The northwest entrance has a six-panel timber door, accompanied by a Doric columned doorpiece with a pediment. The south elevation includes a flat-roofed top storey with simple iron railings that create a viewing platform. There is also a 20th century single-storey extension to the south. The building predominantly features 12-pane timber sash and case windows on the south side, although some openings are boarded up. A coped wallhead stack is located on the east side. As of 2006, the building is noted to be in poor repair.
