11, 13, 15 Marischal Street, Aberdeen

11, 13, 15 Marischal Street in Aberdeen is a late 18th century, three-storey townhouse with an attic, featuring five bays in a Classical style on a sloping site. The building is constructed from Loanhead granite ashlar with raised margins and has a moulded eaves course. It has a later mansard roof that includes a central dormer, which is flanked by tripartite pedimented dormers.

The ground floor has a later shopfront with a recessed two-leaf door, which is flanked by large fixed pane windows. The doorway to No 11, located at the far left, features a timber panelled door with sidelights that have upper halves glazed.

The windows throughout are 6-pane timber sash and case. The steeply pitched mansard roof is covered with grey slates and has an ashlar coped skew at the right gable, along with a coped granite ashlar stack and clay cans.

The rear of the building is harled and has an irregular glazing pattern, with an oriel window in the far left bay at the third floor. There is also a later four-storey addition at the far right, which has a lean-to roof at the re-entrant angle with the rear of Nos 5-9 Marischal Street.
