22, 24, 26 Marischal Street in Aberdeen is a later 18th century, three-storey townhouse with an attic, featuring a symmetrical five-bay classical design on a sloping site. The exterior is constructed of Loanhead granite ashlar with raised margins and includes a moulded cornice. A later timber shopfront with a bracketed fascia is present, along with three canted piended dormers.

The building has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, with a regular arrangement on the first and second floors. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is an ashlar coped skew at the left gable, along with a coped granite ashlar stack and clay cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods are also featured.

Inside, a central curved staircase can be seen at the rear, descending to lower levels and featuring a timber handrail with cast iron banisters.
