Gordon Arms Hotel, 50 Mid Street, Cornhill

The Gordon Arms Hotel is a late 18th century, 2-storey building located at 50 Mid Street in Cornhill. It features three widely spaced bays and has undergone various alterations and additions over the years. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins.

On the ground floor, there are five openings: a central door with a letterbox fanlight, an additional door to the left, and a window to the right of the centre, with windows in the outer bays. The first floor has three windows positioned close under the eaves, and there is a small window in the attic of the west gable. At the rear, there are low 2-storey additions that are set at right angles to the main structure. The building has sash and case windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, while the rear addition has concrete tiles. The building also features ashlar coped skews and stacks with decorative cans.
