Bluebell Hotel, 112 High Street, Lockerbie

The Bluebell Hotel, located at 112 High Street in Lockerbie, was likely built in the first half of the 18th century, although it has undergone alterations and has rear wings added. The building stands three storeys tall and features three bays, with the bay on the right being wider and having bipartite windows, except on the top floor where there are single windows. The windows are sashes with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The exterior is rendered, showcasing contrasting painted and rendered margins. The off-centre doorway, which has a red ashlar cornice, is likely from the 20th century and features cavetto reveals. There are modern window balconies, skews, and end stacks with moulded cornices. The main block is doubled in thickness and has a pair of south-facing gables, along with a long range of outbuildings at the rear.
