Description

The war memorial located on High Street in Lockerbie was designed by James B Dunn, an Associate of the Royal Scottish Academy and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and was unveiled on May 7, 1922. It features a winged bronze figure set atop a tall white granite plinth. The memorial includes bronze name plaques on its sides and decorative wreaths.
