Description
This building at 43 High Street in Lockerbie is a two-storey block from the later 19th century. It features three sections that step upwards in height from the west to a prominent curved eastern corner, which connects with Nos 47 and 49 High Street. The exterior is made of stugged red ashlar with polished margins and includes single and bipartite windows with plate glass sashes. There is a cill band at the first floor level, a north-facing door with a pediment, and pedimented attic dormers on the tallest section. The building has wallhead stacks and coped stacks, with roofs covered in graded slates.
