Description
This chest tomb, dating from the 17th century, is located in the churchyard, 2 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. It is made of sandstone and features a flat top with a deeply moulded cyma recta cornice. The top of the tomb is inscribed, with fine lettering on the north and south faces, although it has become weatherworn over time. While the names of those buried here are not legible, the date 1678 can still be seen on the south face.
