Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 6 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the 17th century and has undergone some later restoration. The tomb is made of dressed freestone and coursed and squared lias rubble. It features a chamfered plinth and a plain square chest, topped with a massive slab that has a cavetto-moulded lower edge. The inscriptions on the tomb have decayed over time. It is included in the listing primarily for its group value with the Church of St. Mary.
