MOORLINCH CP MOOR ROAD (West side) ST33NE 2/42 Unidentified chest tomb in churchyard, about 6 m south of nave, Church of St. Mary - GV II

Chest tomb. C17, some later restoration. Dressed freestone and coursed and squared lias rubble. Chamfered plinth, plain square chest, massive slab top cavetto-moulded around its lower edge. Inscriptions decayed. Included primarily for group value with Church of St. Mary (qv).
