Description

Townsend Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a 17th-century core and 18th-century exterior features. The exterior is roughcast, with a thatched roof and a brick and rendered stack. The farmhouse is single-storey and attic with three bays on the ground floor. It features sash windows in flush frames, with glazing bars; the ground-floor windows are of the Yorkshire type, and a first-floor window has a bonnet hood. A further first-floor window is a two-light casement also under a bonnet hood. A plank door is located between the second and third bays, and is set within a 19th-century gabled porch.
