Description
Stud Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a core dating back to the 17th century, but it is mostly from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and has a roof made of black glazed pantiles. It stands 2½ storeys tall and features six bays, with the right and left bays being lower additions. The central four bays are highlighted by pilasters and include a rectangular gabled porch. The ground and first floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars and painted gauged skewback arches, while the attic storey windows are casements. The gabled roof has a ridge stack located to the left of the center. The side bays are two storeys high and also have sash windows, each with separate gabled roofs. There is a stack on the rear slope of the north extension, and the rear of the building has later outshuts.
