Description
The barn at Manor Farm, dated 1693, is a Grade II listed building constructed of brick with a pantile roof. It features large gables at both ends, each adorned with tie irons shaped like the numerals "1693". The gables have windows that interrupt the eaves line platband. On the north side, there is a central gabled transept entrance with a 20th-century shaped gable and initials "J.W." in the tie irons. Full-height timber doors are present at this entrance, while lower timber doors are located on the south side. The barn has a double saw-toothed eaves cornice beneath the gabled roof. To the right of the transept, there is one brick buttress, and to the left, an outshut. The roof structure consists of tie beams supported by arched braces, Queen struts, and two tiers of purlins. The lower purlins are butted and staggered, while the upper tier is clasped. Cambered collars are also present, with windbracing located below the lower purlins at the ends only. Manor Farmhouse itself is not listed.
