Description
Moorlinch Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that incorporates parts of a 17th-century building. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a 19th-century Bridgwater patent tile roof with coped verges and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the first floor, there are casement windows with glazing bars, except for a central two-light moulded stone-mullioned window, which has a casement in each light. The ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars. The central door opening contains a plank door framed by a moulded stone semi-circular head with an emphasized key and imposts. There is a 19th-century ornamental iron porch with a tent-canopy hood above the door, and a blank heraldic shield is set above it, along with a sundial.
