Description

West Town Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated in a prominent roadside location. The building is constructed of painted rubble with a slate roof and brick stacks. It has an L-shaped plan, with the main frontage at a right angle to the road. The farmhouse is two storeys high and originally had three bays, featuring 16-pane sash windows. A later tripartite sash window has been added to the right of the ground floor. The central door opening is semi-circular and contains a 6-panelled door with the top four panels glazed, a fanlight, and an iron porch with a tent-canopy hood.
