Description
Lower House is a farmhouse with a core dating from the 17th century and a brick front added in the 18th century. It features a hipped slate roof and has a rectangular plan with a central entrance and end stacks. The building stands three storeys high and includes a cellar. The main front has two string courses and a dentilled eaves cornice. On the second floor, there are two semi-circular headed windows with 2-light casements. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads, with the window to the left of the door being wider and featuring a double-pane blade. The central doorway is highlighted by a canopied trellised porch, sidelights, and a six-panelled door.
