Description
Court End Rockwood is a country house from the 18th century that has been divided into two tenements. It is built of brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with later additions to the north-west and east. It stands three storeys tall and includes a central entrance flanked by axial stacks. The exterior is adorned with a stone string course, modillion eaves cornices, and a parapet, with a central pediment that slightly projects forward. The façade consists of a 2:3:2 arrangement of sash windows, some of which still have their original glazing bars. A central stone Doric portico leads to panelled doors that are accompanied by sidelights and a plain overlight.
