Description

Church Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring a sandstone plinth and painted brick infill, topped with a thatched roof. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west, with an additional section at the east end. There are gable-end stacks and an entrance located on the south front. The cottage is single storey with an attic, and includes a single-storey addition. The central eyebrow dormer has one four-pane window and one two-light casement window, while the ground floor features one two-light casement window and a similar two-light window in the single-storey addition.
