Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with some minor alterations from the late 19th century. It is timber-framed and sits on a plinth of sandstone rubble, featuring a similar gable end on the east side and wattle-and-daub infill. The roof is covered with Welsh slate. The cottage consists of two framed bays that are aligned west to east, facing south, and includes a single-storey adjoining bay to the west with a gable-end stack. It has a single storey and an attic, with two dormer windows that contain 2-light casement windows. Flanking the ledged door, which has a lean-to canopy, are additional 2-light casement windows. The interior retains late 19th-century fittings and has largely remained unaltered.
