Description

Salisbury Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built from rubblestone and has a Welsh slate roof. The cottage has two storeys and features two bays with large quoins. The central entrance consists of a board door set within a quoined surround, topped with monolithic lintels. The window surrounds have been altered, likely in the late 19th century, and now feature brick jambs with wooden 2-light, 12-pane casements. There is a late 19th-century yellow brick chimney stack at the right end, while the former stack at the left end has been removed. A rear addition from the 20th century is present but is not considered of special interest.
