There is also a modern weather porch. The Cottage, an early 19th-century addition, is constructed from colourwashed stone rubble as well but is of a higher elevation. It has a thatched roof with one brick chimneystack and is two storeys tall with one window, featuring one casement and a wooden weather porch on the left side. There is a mid-19th-century addition to the left of the lower elevation, which includes a triple casement window.
