Description
The former stabling and hayloft, located to the south of Kings Manor, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a renewed hipped tiled roof with a brick chimney stack. The ground floor includes one double window with a stone architrave and a 20th-century casement. There are two end doorcases, both with stone architraves and a break indicating a keystone. The left side was likely used as a tack room, while the right side served as stabling. The right elevation has two double window openings with 20th-century casements and a gabled opening leading to the hayloft above. The rear elevation features one window with a cambered surround and a doorcase also with a cambered surround and brick dressings. The rear part of the ground floor was used for stabling. Attached to the loft is an early 19th-century stone rubble forecourt wall with pebbled coping and two ashlar piers topped with ball finials.
