Description

Brook Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with later alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill set on a sandstone plinth, along with a 19th-century brick extension. The roofs are covered with Welsh slate. The building has three framed bays arranged in an east-west orientation, with the 19th-century extension on the west side, facing north. It is a single storey with an attic and includes a single storey addition. There are two gabled dormers, each with 2-light casement windows from the 20th century, and similar 20th-century windows are positioned on either side of a glazed door also from the 20th century.
