Description

This is a Dutch barn located east of Court Farmhouse, built around the late 19th century. It features a timber frame supported by stone pedestals and has a plinth made of brick and stone rubble. The roof is covered with slate and has weatherboarded gable ends. The barn has five bays, with posts resting on tooled stone pedestals and short straight braces connecting the arcade-plates and tie-beams. Inside, there are king-post roof trusses and a boarded roof soffit. The ground on the southeast side is at a lower level.
