Description
This cow-house, located east of Court Farmhouse, dates from around the early 19th century, with an extension added in the later 19th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends. The building has a rectangular plan and faces a yard, with a later outshut added at the rear.
The cow-house is two storeys high. The southwest front includes three doorways with plank doors, and there are small windows with boarded shutters positioned between the doors. A loft doorway is located on the northwest gable end. The rear outshut has a lean-to roof covered with pantiles. Inside, the cow-house features a three-bay king-post roof.
