Description

This barn, located to the south-west of Court Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is timber-framed with a sandstone plinth and features brick infill, which may have been added around the same time. The barn has a roof that is partly covered with Welsh slate and partly with stone slate. It consists of nine bays arranged in a north-west to south-east orientation, with a central threshing floor. The structure is supported by wooden pegged king-post trusses.
