Description

This is a farmhouse, dated 1791. It is constructed with English bond brickwork at the rear and Flemish bond brickwork at the front, and has a hipped roof covered in stone slates. The building has a rectangular plan with a central entrance and end stacks. It is three storeys high, with a dentilled eaves cornice. There are three windows, with square-headed glazing bar sashes, the central window being semi-circular headed and featuring pronounced keystones. The central doorway has a pedimented surround and a six-panelled door. Internally, the upper rooms retain cast iron fireplaces, and there is a plain dog-leg back staircase.
