Description
Broomhill Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been largely altered during the late 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with a sandstone plinth and painted brick infill, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building consists of three framed bays and includes a lean-to at the rear, a large axial stack, and a through-passage. It stands two storeys high, with the first floor showcasing three 2-light casement windows. The ground floor has a 19th-century bay window and a 3-light casement window to the left, along with a 2-light casement window to the right of a gabled canopied porch that has a panelled door. The square panelled framing has been largely altered, likely raised, and the stack retains a diagonal-plan shaft.
