MOORLINCH CP MOOR ROAD (West side) ST33NE 2/41 Unidentified chest tomb in churchyard, directly adjacent to east end of chancel of Church of St. Mary - GV II

Chest tomb. C17. Dressed stone. Plinth buried. Classic oblong chest with corner pilasters and a central pilaster to north and south sides, between the pilasters decoration in relief. Slab top moulded around its outer edge. The chest is much obscured at the tile of survey (December 1985) by ivy, no inscriptions seen.
