Description
This is a 17th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard, directly next to the east end of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. It is made of dressed stone, with the plinth buried. The tomb has a classic oblong shape, featuring corner pilasters and a central pilaster on the north and south sides, with decorative relief between the pilasters. The top slab is moulded around its outer edge. At the time of the survey in December 1985, the chest was largely obscured by ivy, and no inscriptions were visible.
