Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb from the 17th century, located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary, 3 metres southeast of the east end. The tomb is made of dressed stone and features a plinth with a classic oblong shape. It has corner pilasters and an additional pilaster at the centre of the north and south sides, each adorned with scroll decoration. The top of the tomb is a hipped slab that has a cavetto moulding around its lower edge. Unfortunately, all inscriptions on the tomb have decayed over time.
