Description

ST BRIAVELS CHURCH STREET SO 50 SE (north side) 6/137 Unidentified monument in the churchyard c 8 metres south west of the south west buttress of the tower to the Church of St Mary GV II Chest tomb. Early C18. Sandstone. Flat top to moulded edge, heavy bolstered ends, fielded panels north and south, base sunk and invasion by ivy at time of survey, November 1983. Some inscription remains on the north side, but is not now legible. One of a triangular group of 3 tombs in this position, lies north west from the Mary King monument (qv).
