Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 1.5 meters south-west of the south window in the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and plain panels, although the inscriptions are not legible. It is situated 1 meter to the west of the Matthew Williams memorial.
