Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 2 metres south west of the south west buttress of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat inscribed top with a deep chamfered edge and plain panels. At the time of the survey in November 1983, the base was noted to be sunk. The inscriptions on the tomb are not legible. It is situated immediately to the south of the Thomas Rottery monument.
