Description

This is a chest tomb located about 6 meters south of the Church of St Mary in Sampford Spiney, dating from the 17th century. It is made of granite and features a flat top with a hollow-chamfered lower edge. The top is formed from a single block of granite, and there is raised lettering, which is currently indecipherable, along the north side of the plinth.
