Description

This linhay, located about 50 metres northeast of Nos 1 and 2 Knapp Cottages, dates from the 18th century, and may be even older. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble and has a corrugated iron roof. The building is designed in a U-plan and features two sections with ten and one bays, circular piers (some with bases), and raking buttresses at the rear. It has a collar and principal roof. The linhay is large, relatively well preserved, and still in use.
