Description

The linhay, located east of Castle Home Farmhouse alongside Castle Hill, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble red sandstone and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and is divided into six bays by circular, full-height stone piers. The ground floor openings have been blocked and replaced with later wooden casement windows and doors. Despite these alterations, the linhay is part of an interesting group of traditional agricultural buildings.
