Description

The Hay Barn, located north of Castle Home Farmhouse, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble red sandstone and features a pantile hipped roof with a later brick chimney stack. The barn is a single storey and has five bays, which are divided by square full-height stone piers. This building is part of an interesting group of agricultural structures.
