Description
Number 7 Castle Hill is an early 19th-century building that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of random rubble red sandstone, with ashlar quoins and dressings around the openings. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and there are brick chimney stacks. The west gable features tile hanging at the first floor, which is supported by wooden brackets. The building has two storeys and includes two ground floor casement windows with small-paned, diamond-shaped glazing. There is a modern door located beneath a gabled hood on brackets. Additionally, there is a 1½ storey gabled wing to the east. This building is included for its group value.
