Description

Castle Home Farmhouse is a mid-18th century building that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of random rubble red sandstone and features a plain tile gabled roof with brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three 3-light wood casement windows on the first floor, along with later tiled angled bay windows on the ground floor. A central gabled door hood is supported by wooden brackets and leads to a ribbed and studded door. Notably, there is a stone on the east gable that is dated 1748.
