Description
This building is a barn over shelter sheds located on the east side of the foldyard at Washford Farm, dating from the mid-19th century. It features a hipped asbestos slate roof and is constructed from red sandstone random rubble. The barn has a first floor with a central segmental-headed double door, which is flanked by two tiers of ventilation or pigeon holes that are now blocked with bricks. Below the barn, there is a three-bay segmental-headed arcade of shelter sheds. The double doors are only present on the rear elevation. This structure is part of a notable group of 19th-century farm buildings situated around the foldyard, prominently located at the entrance to Washford along the main road from Williton.
