Description
Hungerford Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building is roughcast over rubble and features a slate roof, with a stone stack on the left gable end and an external stepped stone stack on the right gable end, which is largely concealed by an added brick cap. The farmhouse has a plan consisting of two cells and a cross passage, along with a rear wing. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The early 19th-century windows are four-light leaded iron casements, with the ground floor windows having been renewed. There is a central porch with a hipped slate roof and a panelled door, along with a single-storey, one-bay lean-to addition on the right return, which has curved buttresses at the end bay on the left. The interior has not been viewed.
