Description

The gate, gate piers, railings, and dwarf walls fronting the four right bays of Cope were built in the early 19th century. The gate piers are made of ashlar sandstone, are square in shape, and feature pedimented tops, standing about one metre high. The gate and railings are constructed of cast iron with enriched tops. The railings are set into a dwarf wall made of random rubble red sandstone. The structure is in poor condition at the south corner. It is primarily listed for its group value with Cope.
