Description

The linhay at East Luccombe Farm is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble, with cob in the gable end and features a thatched roof with bargeboards. The building stands two storeys high and has two bays, with a solid wall on the left side and an open right side, facing northeast. It includes circular rubble piers and weatherboard infill on the right gable and the ground floor on the left. This linhay is a charming example of an outdated type of farm building and is part of a notable group of farm structures located to the north.
