Description

This is a range of shops dating from the mid-19th century, located on Paul Street. The buildings are constructed of coursed and dressed rubble. They feature a uniform design, with one window visible in each property. The windows are mostly glazing bar sash windows, with No. 13 being an exception. The ground floor doorways and shop windows are connected. Although the shop windows are now used as domestic windows, some retain their original glazing bars. The roofs are covered with slate and pantile. These buildings are recognised for their contribution to the character and appearance of the townscape.
