Description

The Old Manse is a late 18th-century detached building located in Sheppards Barton. It stands two storeys high and is constructed of rubble with an 'M' pitch roof on the front slope, while the rear features Marley tiles and pantiles. The building has stone chimneys at each end and three windows, with the outer ones being wider. These windows are glazing bar sashes set in raised surrounds, which have ogee moulding on the outer edges and beading on the inner edges. Above the central six-panel door, there are carved brackets supporting a pediment. Additionally, there is a side door located on the north side.
