Description

Nos. 5 and 6 South Parade date from approximately 1800. The building has a modern pantiled mansard roof with three dormers. It is two and a half storeys high and has five windows in total, with the outer windows paired. The windows are 19th-century sash windows set within raised architraves, the outer edges of which have ogee mouldings. There are two square door openings, each with a stone pediment supported by consoles. No. 5 has a stone-vaulted cellar and, in the ground floor room, an enriched ceiling cornice and a reeded marble fireplace surround dating to around 1820-30.
