Description

No. 3 Wine Street is an early to mid-18th century building, partially remodelled in the mid-19th century, situated on the corner of High Street. The building is two storeys high and constructed of painted rubble, with a pantile roof; the lower courses of the roof are in stone. The corner section facing Wine Street has a hipped roof and two mid-19th century sash windows. A mid-19th century shop window features arcaded divisions and a modillion cornice, along with a half-glazed door. The return to High Street displays three windows, with two blind windows on the first floor; these have raised surrounds. The remaining windows on the High Street return are mid-19th century sashes and casements. A central door provides access to the building.
