Description

These are two buildings dating to around 1830. They are constructed of ashlar, with chamfered quoins, a cornice, and a parapet. The buildings have two storeys, with more modern shop fronts below. The shop front of No. 4 Catherine Hill dates to approximately 1900, featuring scroll brackets to the fascia and modillions to the cornice of the fascia. The upper floors contain three windows, with sash glazing in moulded architraves. The central first-floor window has a pediment supported by brackets; the outer windows are tripartite. The roof is covered in pantiles and is a mansard style.
