Description
Nos 50 and 52 on Bondgate Within are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall and feature four windows. The exterior is made of plain ashlar stone, adorned with Adam swags in the frieze above the second-floor windows and fluted kneelers. A moulded cornice crowns the slate roof, which has two chimneys at the gable ends. The second floor has single-hung glazing bar sashes. The early 20th-century shop fronts have four windows, two of which have shallow arched glazing. There is a through passage located to the right of the centre.
