Description
Nos 49 and 51 Bondgate Within are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall, each featuring two windows. The front is made of plain ashlar stone, topped with a moulded eaves cornice and a slate roof that has three brick ridge chimneys. The second floor has single-hung glazing bar sash windows. On the ground floor, there are a pair of late 19th-century shop fronts, which include three fascia brackets and a dentil cornice above a common fascia, although the shop windows themselves are modern. A door on the right leads to a through passage.
