Description

No. 11 Market Street is an early to mid-19th century building that features a front added to an older house. It stands three storeys tall and has two windows. The exterior is made of plain ashlar stone with a simple eaves cornice. The roof is slate, with a coted verge and a chimney located on the right side. The building has late glazed sash windows. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, which includes three panelled pilasters supporting the fascia. To the right, there is a through passage that was formerly known as Correction House Lane. At the rear, there are various pantiled extensions.
